Born and Raised in McClellanville,SC, Everette Bigbee has been part of the southeastern music scene since the late 1970's. Since picking up the guitar at eight years of age, he has been in the ranks of many of Charleston's favorite bands, such as: Raven - London Bridge Road - The Smokin' Section - Blue Funk - Black Market Babies - Rites of Passage - Liquid - Big Stoner Creek - Ray's Used Hubcaps - WaterStreet - Monster - Big J Hosaphat - and most recently, Stained Glass Wall & EvLectric. He has also spent time in the Atlanta, Ga. music scene with bands like Helmz Deep, Big Slam Funk, and She's The Man. He has released three albums:"Duane Sneed ... and other assorted Looney Tunes", and "Internet Love Songs" and "7 Instrumental Hits" on his own EvToons Label. His next album, "Light", will be available soon. Using only minimal equipment,he creates beautifully disturbed driving songs for all conditions. His goal is to make Pink Floyd albums on a bag lady's budget. Or Bag Lady albums on a Pink Floyd budget. Or Something. Everette currently performs solo acoustic shows, and duo gigs with Joe as EvLectric, as well as playing lead guitar with Stained Glass Wall. His ability to fit in with all kinds of musicians has resulted in him hosting "Open Mic at Art's Bar and Grill" for five years running. In his acoustic shows, Everette does the songs you know, as well as ones that you wouldn't normally expect an acoustic musician to do. Johnny Cash and Simon and Garfunkle songs fit right in with Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin in Everette's songbook. For the right audience, he'll even throw in some Black Sabbath. Add twenty some odd years worth of original material to that, and you'll get an idea of what one of Everette's shows are like. His love for the guitar enables him to integrate his influences seamlessly into a musical event, showcasing both his bluesy vocals, and eloquent yet ferocious guitar playing.
