Scott picked up the guitar at the ripe old age of 21, inspired by a Bob Dylan songbook. He noticed that most of the songs used just a few chords, and with the "Well I could do that!" attitude, he started writing. His first song called "Home" was written on October 13th 1992, and contains all of THREE CHORDS! Scott's songwriting is rarely direct in its subject matter, more a collection of thought provoking lines and verses strung together to tell the story by the end, or leaving it open to the listeners interpretation.
Scott always pulls inspiration for his songs from personal experiences, and it worth noting that this bio was written on September 11th 2008. The song "Shock waves" which can be found on this web site, was written October 1st 2001, in memory of the attacks on our country. "Imagine your self searching for the needle in the hay, you try anyway...Try anyway"
